Tourism 1st Vision Award 2006 Nominations are open!

The Tourism 1st Vision Award (click to view) recognizes the significant contribution made by an individual, company, association, or government towards achieving the Tourism Vision for Nova Scotia. This recognition is made in pursuit of an idea/concept, the creation of a new product or service that attracts new visitation, the development of a new process to assist in the coordination of tourism, and/or project that adds value to our ultimate goal of “100% Tourism Revenue Growth by 2012”. Presentation is made during the Tourism Conference’s Gala Awards Night. Nominations for the Tourism 1st Vision Award will be accepted until November 14th 2006. Read about 2005 winner Hanspter Stutz.

Nominee must be one of the following:
|
- Individual or company must be a member of a registered tourism organization / association, or
|
- Municipal, provincial, or federal government department or agency
|
| Additional Criteria: |
- Recognition fit with the scope of the Tourism Vision
|
- Can be readily utilized as an example of using Vision to drive results
|
- Concept / idea has the potential to be repeated or reused
|
- The Tourism 1st Vision Award Selection Committee reserves the right to reject a nomination if it does not meet appropriate standards or criteria.
